Design Group Seeks Experienced

Project Engineer in Denver, CO.

In response to our continued growth of our core business, we are actively seeking experienced Project Engineers for our Denver Office.  This position will include the opportunity to work with one of our top clients and provide excellent momentum for career growth and advancement. 

 

Education

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on actual project experience.

 

Experience
Minimum Five (5) or more year's project engineering and design experience involvingLine Optimization, packaging line control theory, and high-speed bottling, packaging and process equipment.


Requirements/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include accountability for complete project execution including line layout engineering with proven line optimization skills,  vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, site management, constructability and installation support. 

 

This position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.  Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility.

 

Requires excellent engineering and project management skills, including machinery applications, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient at converting information into project documentation, managing integration of packaging automation lines, and leading project teams.

 

Travel Requirements

40 – 60% travel will be required to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars, forums or conventions.
