Job Requirements:
-The ideal candidate will have a broad background in analytical and/or process chemistry and have demonstrated expertise in a variety of instrumental analysis techniques, with an emphasis in liquid chromatography. Experience with LC/MS and size exclusion chromatography is also desired.
-Strong leadership skills, good communication and organizational skills are necessary. This chemist will be required to interface with technical staff working on several different projects having competing priorities. Candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
-Demonstrated ability to problem solve is required. Candidate will able and willing to handle analytical bench work on a regular basis, trouble shoot and problem solve chemical, instrumental, and production problems when needed, and will possess the capability to contribute to other lab areas as needed.
-Safety is the 1st priority in the lab and all chemists will be required to participate in all safety regulated aspects of the work.
