Fortune 500 company with tremendous career growth potential! Must have 8+ years of industrial safety within ideally both plant and multiple site roles. Position can be based in Cleveland, Dayton or Cincinnati, Ohio! Responsible for oversight of multiple manufacturing and distribution / warehouse operations throughout the region requiring 50% travel within the state of Ohio. Safety compliance, leadership, DOT and general environmental knowledge required in this role.
This position contributes to the success of the company by enabling safety and health risk management including risk identification, evaluation, control, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, and post incident management. This person is responsible for building the regional safety agenda aligned with the business unit and corporate, by supporting the management team with programming, training, and consultation that helps leadership achieve their goals.
