Experienced Process Project Manager

 

Process PM – Dallas

We are currently seeking an experienced Process Project Manager with dairy experience for our Dallas, TX office.

 

Education

B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.

 

Experience

Minimum 5-10 years of industrialproject engineering experience involving process and related automation applications, preferably in the food and/or beverage industry.  Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the dairy industry.

 

Responsibilities / Requirements

This position will be responsible for process mechanical design, process equipment and installation specifications, vendor and contractor management, process electrical / control and instrumentation design integration, as well as installation and start-up support.  Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility of this role.

 

This position requires a working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, mass & heat balances, basic piping system design, pump sizing, material handling methods, equipment, functional & installation specifications, as well as process instrumentation & control principles.  A practical understanding of sanitary design and construction methods, and knowledge of process electrical / control and instrumentation design integration preferred.

 

This position requires excellent engineering and project management skills.  The ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities is essential. Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. 

 

Travel Requirements

40-60% travel will be required on a sporadic basis to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings and other meetings.  The vast majority of this travel will be regional.
