Direct and coordinate the activities of test engineering personnel involved in new product testing, existing design modification, warranty issue and alternate source solutions to ensure the highest quality products. Manage multiple locations where testing is performed and will be responsible for managing an offsite location. Provide technical leadership and oversight to all facets of the organization. Confer with Engineering's internal and external customers, including senior leadership and ownership, to ensure that deliverables and performance meet expectations and fulfill requirements. Assist in the assessment and forecasting of operating costs and the preparation of Test Engineering operating and project-related budgets. Select and manage Test Engineering personnel including recruitment, hiring, counseling and performance evaluations.
