Wells Enterprises headquartered in Le Mars, IA, the Ice Cream Capitol of the World, currently has an opening at our Corporate office to join our IT Department as a Programmer Analyst. Qualified candidates must be college graduates with a BS MIS, CS, EE or equivalent where they have demonstrated strong technical capabilities through computer, math, science, or engineering courses. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0.
This position will support our Supply and Operations areas which are primarily Oracle based and involves working closely with business partners to interpret their needs and create technical solutions. It will involve working with R&D Scientists, Quality Engineers, Plant Engineers, Maintenance Engineers and others throughout the supply chain. This position will receive direction from a team manager but will be expected to individually manage small projects as well. Will also need to possess excellent people skills for building solid relationships with the business areas represented by the team.
This position involves working with multiple Oracle Applications and several databases (Oracle, Oracle Express, SQL Server). Development tools used are PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle APEX, SCADA/HMI tools, and some Java, VB.NET, and ASP.NET.
