Responsible to eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life in coordination with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel. Leads activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. Provides technical and problem solving support for the plant and maintenance crews. Supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve Plant�¿s key performance goals for overall maintenance performance. Assures production schedules are met and all issues are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. 3 years related experience.
Qualifications:
Planning of maintenance activity and measurement of acutal performance, including variance analysis.
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems of equipment through personal observations, maintenance logs, and operator feedback and plans for and takes corrective action.
Coordinates, arranges, and supervises or provides for the completion of corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with standard operating procedures of all processing practices and financial considerations of equipment to minimize plant down time.
Schedules, supervises, and directs the maintenance mechanics in all maintenance efforts of Russellville.
Responsible for setting up and training of mechanics
Assures effective and efficient utilization of assigned labor, equipment, and repair parts to maintain control of maintenance costs.
Reviews production schedule and coordinates with production. When equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, directs change over of new equipment or scheduled maintenance.
Benefits:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Production Operations Management required.
Knowledge and exposure to mechanical, electronic and electrical systems required.
PLC knowledge preferred.
Strong leadership and team development skills required.
Food industry experience preferred.
Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
Must be available for a second or third shift.
Must be a self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead others.
Must have thorough working knowledge of maintenance principles, machine dynamics, and various processing equipment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong computer application skills with Microsoft Office.
Basic financial skills and understanding.
