Wells Enterprises, Le Mars, IA, the Ice Cream Capitol of the World, and maker of delicious Blue Bunny ice cream is adding the position of Business Intelligence Manager. The Business Intelligence Manager's role is to lead the design, development, and ongoing support of the business intelligence function for Wells. This role will help to ensure that consistent and accurate management information is broadly available for standard and adhoc reporting or detailed analytics. The position will work with business users to define reporting and analysis needs, develop programs and leverage IT resources to ensure accurate data is available in a consumable format, and develop change control processes to ensure the ongoing availability and accuracy of new data sources.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
Primary responsibility is to drive the use and acceptance of a centralized business intelligence environment through regular interaction with key business users and then translating those findings into design and population of a data repository that enables easy interpretation and analysis of the information.
Define data standards and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data repository.
Manage projects, contracts and budget items associated with the Business Intelligence function.
Develop long-term strategic goals and plans for BI development in conjunction with business partners, IT Managers and other stakeholders.
Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; providing technical support if needed
* Knowledge -Knowledge of Business Intelligence best practices with specific knowledge of Oracle EBS and OBIEE.
* Skills - Excellent communication, project management, and problem solving skills. Strong OLAP design, Informatica ETL processing, and report development skills.

Ability to engage with business to define Information needs and translate those needs into effective IT solutions. Ability to work effectively in teams and create strong morale and spirit within the project team. Ability to delegate in a matrixed environment and ensure project tasks are completed as assigned.
The minimum education requirement for this position is a BS in Computer Science or Business. Preferred experience is a Minimum of 5 years leading a Business Intelligence team or project, Minimum 5 years of hands on Business Intelligence development experience, at least 2 years experience with Oracle OBIEE and Lead at least 1 full life cycle Business Intelligence Project
