Responsible for the operation of the plant to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, by directly supervising process operators who work on a 24-hour rotating shift schedule. Ensure consistent operation among the shifts. Responsible for assisting with the hiring of plant personnel and conducting employee performance reviews. Monitor and control plant operations; monitor production and quality; anticipate & solve problems in a timely manner; identify opportunities for improvement. Works with the HS&E Manager to direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for all process operations; review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all process operators. Minimum of ten years experience in the operation of a dry mill ethanol plant. Experience in a supervisory role required. In-depth knowledge of the ethanol production process and technology. Mech or Chem eng degree. Midwest. to $90K
