*Assist in the development of customer call lists for region. *Contact customers to follow up on order fulfillment, satisfaction, problem resolution and to enhance and develop customer relationships, as directed by Region Sales Manager. *Become proficient in Peachtree software (off the shelf accounting and customer information management program) to assist sales team with customer and performance information.* Assist in the development of marketing plans, campaigns, and promotions for the region, including plans for seasonal sales of trademark recognized rations, minerals, etc  *Manage and direct trade show and/or farm show involvement by the region; planning attendance from the sale force; developing marketing ideas to increase sales at planned trade shows; attend trade shows and be involved in customer prospecting from the booth. *Assist in tracking Accounts Receivable and management of customer accounts as needed. *Assist Regional Sales Manager as directed with sales and customer service activities *Assist in tracking and scheduling and follow-up of inbound and outbound truck product. *Report to Regional Sales Manager; Oklahoma, to $32K   It's sort of a cross between a marketing person and a sales assistant. This is a new position.
