Position Summary

Delphey-Gerdes has an impressive reputation as a full service design, engineering and construction management firm known for its exceptional service and single source responsibility specializing in the food, beverage and consumer products industries. 

We have an immediate need for a Civil Engineering Project Manager to work at our office in Commerce, CA.

Education

Position requires BS degree in Civil Engineering with an ABET accredited school, as well as a P.E. license.

Experience

7 years related experience with project execution including design, construction, structural engineering, architectural engineering, coordinating multidiscipline teams, particularly in private industry with industrial structures.  Experience with HVAC mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines is relevant.

Requirements/Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects in building design, preparing plans, specs and contract documents; administering building construction, client interface and solving building design problems. Experience in the food and beverage industry, specifically meat processing facilities is required. Flexibility for travel is required. Must possess communication and interpersonal skills for formal presentations and to maintain client relationships.
