BACKGROUND:
- Must have a 4-year degree
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing
- 3+ years experience (more is good) in a Continuous Improvement role with demonstrated success applying CI tools/techniques
- Strong communication skills
POSITION:
Responsible for improving overall business performance and building internal Continuous Improvement capability through hands on coaching and mentoring. Will initiate, lead and support the implementation of improvement activities. This position will manage projects and activities, establishing clear goals and objectives, and organizing the resources to achieve the goals and objectives. Will focus teams on critical factors, bring creative and viable ideas of others to the organization, and establish key measures to track results. Will use analytical tools and problem solving techniques to identify root-causes of waste, quantify improvement potential, prioritize opportunities and develop improvement solutions. This position has no direct reports.
