Posting Job Description There are four open positions.
This posting is part of the brewery organizational design project. Candidate consideration will progress in the following manner:
1. Within the “home” brewery
2. Within the eight (8) brewery network
3. Within MillerCoors
This position has been “Mapped” to the current Reliability Engineer position. Automatic consideration will be given to individual(s) in that role.
The primary role of the Optimization Engineer – Packaging is to provide operational reliability through improvement in process, people and asset reliability & optimization. The Optimization Engineer – Packaging will ensure that processes are functional and validated to perform at their design capability and inherent reliability.
Once functional and validated, the Optimization Engineer - Packaging will improve the packaging operation through process, people and asset improvement, utilizing the techniques of six sigma, 5 S, problem solving, Kaizen and others as they may apply. Responsible for the safety and quality of our products by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors SQF guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications Minimum of a 4 year engineering degree or appropriate technical degree with technical experience.
7 to 10 years prior experience in manufacturing operations management preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
