Project Manager – Experienced Consulting Engineer with Food/Beverage Packaging

Los Angeles, CA

Position Summary

Education

Bachelor of Science – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

10+ years direct industry experience

Specific Experience:  Engineering andManagement of integration and installation of major packaging lines.  Beverage Packaging Line Production and/or Maintenance work history.

Skills Technical:  Strong engineering and project management skills including machinery applications, computer skills & overall application of theory to packaging projects.

Communicate with customers, vendors and Design Group employees at all levels of responsibility.

Effectively manage time and budget.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and participating in the design, integration, installation and start-up of West Coast packaging lines for the food and beverage industries.  Responsibilities will require engineering experience at the leadership and working levels of process & utility, drafting (CAD), controls, equipment procurement, installation, training, and start-up.  Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in budget, scope & schedule management, business development, client interaction and contractor supervision.


 Travel Requirements

Overnight travel will be required to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, company sponsored training and industry related seminars, forums or conventions.
