We are pleased to announce Dock Coordinator opportunities at our Denver, Colorado facility.
Description: Dock Coordinators interact with the leadership group, other warehouse team members, quality assurance, maintenance technicians, and production team to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety. They participate as team members in a high volume, light manufacturing environment. Duties include running shipped requirements daily, BOL collection, reconcile dock schedule, enter appointment time and dates, greet drivers for pick-ups. Coordinators must maintain area in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Main job responsibilities:
' Work to continually improve plant systems, processes, procedures and results
' Utilize process improvement techniques, tools and procedures
' Adhere to good housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices
' Maintain quality records shipping
' Co-ordinate drop trailer program
' Schedule delivery and pick-up appointments for carriers and customers
' Greet drivers for pick-ups when needed
' Track damaged product movements in SAP
' Account for all BOL's shipped
' Reconcile shipping and dock schedule
Requirements:
The ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:
' Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP
' Have the ability to problem solve and make decisions in independent and team settings
' Have good communication skills to work with factory personnel and vendors
' Possess basic computer knowledge ' SAP desired, Proficient in Microsoft Excel
' Have a baseline understanding of mathematics (multiplication, division, averages, and percentage calculations)
' Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
' Must pass competency test
' Must have a valid driver's license; forklift certified a plus
