We are currently seeking a Technical Support Manager for Blowmolding to be located in our Coppell, TX location and support all 19 US and Canadian locations. Current NWNA employees may remain in their current location. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Leading the effort nationally within NWNA to improve the reliability of our Blow Molding manufacturing assets in order to maximize productivity and reduce waste

Identifying and creating blow molding best practices for equipment usage and maintenance, cost reduction and processing; facilitating alignment amongst the 19 factories and ensuring implementation and ongoing execution

Using metrics and machine and system data to identify gaps in facility performance; coaching facilities for improvement

Project management, to include vendor management, of key container initiatives, including light weighting

Providing onsite support to line conversions and building relationships with 3rd party vendors providing processing support

Partnering with vendors to monitor technology advancements and machine improvements; evaluating improvements for implementation

Establishing an internal network of functional partners, subject matter experts and processing operators to leverage knowledge and create alignment

Developing and leveraging strong relationships with the Container team, Engineering, Purchasing and field locations

Requirements:

Key qualifications include:

HS Diploma or GED required, 4 year technical degree preferred

Engineering and/or maintenance experience in high speed container manufacturing, preferably food grade (PET) packaging with a two step process

Advanced knowledge of high speed blow molding equipment for food grade plastics, Sidel or Krones experience a plus

An understanding of the downstream impact of container manufacturing

Continuous improvement experience with Six Sigma, Lean or TPM or similar certification(s) preferred

Strong ERP software knowledge, SAP Asset Management & Maintenance experience preferred

Demonstrated strength in using data to analyze trends and determine root cause and track improvements

Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to develop credibility and lead and guide others primarily through influence and demonstrated value at all levels-operator to Director level

Must be able to travel domestically overnight, estimated at 50%
