Job Description

We are currently seeking a Transport Driver. The primary role of the transport driver is to deliver product from a plant to various locations, (plant to plant, plant to depot, plant to outlet and/or plant to customer), moving racks or dollies of finished products and material handling equipment, loading and unloading trailers.

PRINCIPAL ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivers finished goods to plants, meets, depots, stores and/or shipping customers based on established routes
Daily inspection of equipment in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintains driver log in accordance with DOT regulations
Completes Driver Trip Report and turns in daily
Understands and practices safe driving standards
Utilizes various machines/tools including: loading ramps, hydraulic lifts, tire chains, load bars, load plate, fuel pump and map book; Operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Documentation of a high school diploma or completed GED
Minimum of 2 years prior truck driving experience
Knowledge of and ability to operate a heavy truck
21 years of age
Valid Class A CDL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bakery industry knowledge a plus
