Job Description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to work 2nd shift (schedule TBD) in one of our 24 X 7 facilities on a two facility campus in Breinginsville, PA.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

'Lead a team of 20 to 30 team members (palletizers/loaders/dock office/raw material handlers/third party providers) to achieve warehouse metrics in a manner consistent with our culture and values.

'Partner cross functionally with Planning, Production, Transport, and others to maximize efficiencies and customer responsiveness

'Facilitate the execution of changes and activities needed to support Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and the pursuit of TPM

'Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements

'Review, maintain, reconcile, and report FIFO discrepancies

'Use continuous improvement methodologies and projects to improve and streamline logistics processes

'Oversee the quality hold reconciliation process and management of the return process

'Ensure a clean and safe work environment, in accordance with plant operating standards and internal and external regulations

'Develop and implement SOPs, procedures and policies as needed

'Oversee the proper training of new hires and seasonal staff

'Serve as a liaison with 3rd party warehousing operations

'Ensure compliance to ISO/PAS/NQMS/NESTEC standards

'Provide periodic weekend coverage as a member of the leadership team in the facility

Requirements:

Key qualifications include:

'Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field required; masters preferred

'Five or more years of experience within warehousing /distribution with two or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity

'Prior experience in the consumer products industry or food and beverage with familiarity with quality and hygiene regulation desired

'Knowledge and exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, and various problem solving methodologies

'Solid understanding of warehousing processes and inventory methods and systems

'Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business management software (SAP preferred).

'Grasp of cost implications on various warehouse and inventory factors

'Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate accordingly

'Effective communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action

'Solid problem solving abilities with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity

'Demonstrated track record of developing employees

'Ability and willingness to respond to after hours calls for critical issues and provide weekend coverage a few times/year.

'Willingness to adjust work schedule (shifts and scheduled days) to meet business need
