We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Allentown, PA location. The Financial Analyst is a key team member responsible for overall supply chain analytical support to the Sweet Leaf Tea business. The Financial Analyst will incorporate the process between Nestle and Sweet Leaf Tea.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Provide overall supply chain analytical support for the Sweet Leaf Tea business as well as the Co-Manufacturing Business.
-Work with Senior Finance Manager to develop requirements to meet/exceed organization compliance standards.
-Responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely payment of all freight invoices.
-Act as liaison between CASS (our 3rd party freight invoice processing company), our carriers and transport operations.
-Responsibility for the Logistics Accounts Payables process including all third party warehouse and Co-Manufacturing storage and handling, CHEP pallets, travel and general purchasing expenses, etc.
-Responsibility for the Logistics' month-end close (ex: accruals, JE what is JE?, reconciliations).
-Lead the monthly Logistics month-end forecast and financial deck preparation.
-Work closely with the Tea transport department in the maintenance of freight rates in I2 and NESPRO.
-Assist and support Factory Controller and SC Financial Analyst in Carlisle, OH location where necessary.
-Prepare journal entries, analysis and assistance in preparing month-end close deck for the Logistics P&L and Co-Manufactured locations.
-Work with Logistics Team on a monthly forecast and take lead role in preparing the month-end close package.
-Provide any necessary financial and business analysis (with Finance Manager) ' such as on new products, changes to existing projects, new sources solutions or locations, etc.
-Work with Transport operations and Stamford Logistics Finance group to ensure SCD's (Shipping Cost Documents) are accurately rated and sent to CASS in a timely fashion.
-Monitor and address freight invoices that are sent to FBA for manual approve/reject at CASS.
-Reviewing carrier invoice aging reports to ensure they reconcile with our systems and remain current.
-Non Freight Invoices - create necessary POs, process A/P invoices and manage A/P KPIs (GRIR, block invoices, open POs, one time vendors and PO after invoice).
-Processing and handling travel and general purchasing credit cards
Requirements:
Key qualifications include:
-Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
-5 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment with relevant work experience in Inventory, Accounting or Finance
-Prior experience in the consumer goods industry desired, food or beverage preferred
-Strong computer skills with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint and experienced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel and Access(Advanced Excel preferred)
-Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
-Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships
-Demonstrated success in problem solving, accounts payable, and physical inventory counts
-Excellent follow-up skills
-Strong work ethic
