Our client is an industry leading food & beverage company. They are in search of a Maintenance Manager for their facility located just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. Areas of Competence and Responsibilities: • Responsible for all technical and maintenance issues related to the plant's manufacturing operations. • Responsible for equipment modifications and process improvements. • Assist corporate engineering in automation efforts. Candidate must have a working knowledge of LEAN & Continuous Improvement principles. • Must have prior maintenance management experience in food, pharmaceutical, or other consumer product company regulated by FDA/USDA. • Well-versed in predictive and preventative maintenance. • Must have a history as a change agent, not someone that manages or maintains systems and processes. Intangibles: The Plant Manager is focused on finding someone that not only fits technically but also possesses the intangible characteristics of a leader. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) • Ability to lead, manage and develop manufacturing personnel
Requirements: • Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree: Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering • Implementation of Lean / Six Sigma methodology • Experience working in Pharma, Food, Beverage or FDA regulatoed Consumer Product Company • Comprehensive understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance programs and experience with Ammonia Refrigeration is required
