POSITION SUMMARY:

• Continuously seek process and efficiency improvements. 
• Assist in identification and justification of capital requirements.  
• Responsible for implementing the long-term capital plan and prioritize plant needs with corporate expectations on plant investments.
• Manage capital projects ensuring that projects remain within budget and are completed on schedule.  
• Provides direction for maintenance activities. 
• Identify necessary building repairs and assure continuous maintenance of equipment through utilization of Preventative Maintenance program. 
• Perform regular audits to ensure that PM's are effective. 
• Perform monthly safety audits to ensure the Plant is in full regulatory compliance. 
• Provide guidance and direction to supervisors to ensure necessary corrective actions are implemented. 
• Understanding of regulations related to food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Working knowledge of lean tools and TPM.

SKILLS:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in engineering discipline preferred and 5-8 years of directly related manufacturing experience.
• Must have good computer skills and excellent time management and organizational skills. 
• This position requires good oral and written communication skills.
