A Bill of Materials Technician will work both individually and in team environments to coordinate various aspects of the New Product Development Process. The Bill of Materials Technician will create, maintain and apply revision control processes to the item master and product structure throughout the New Product Development process. This position will be the product configuration coordinator and point position for Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, Production Control and Prototype builds. The Bill of Materials Technician will support Engineering activities to ensure documentation integrity from product concept thru release. 5-10 years experience with product configuration (Item Master, Product Structure-BOM). Knowledge/use of MRP/ERP systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Very strong organizational skills. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office platform. At least an Associate's degree in Design/Manufacturing Technology or equivalent. Midwest, competitive salary
