Our client, a highly successful leader in the nutritional products and supplements area, is again growing and now seeking a creative and talented Food Technologist-Product Development as an addition to staff:
Job Description
POSITION:Food Technologist/Product Development Scientist
REPORTS TO:Manager Research And Development
FUNCTION:Support all aspects of product development for primarily flavored application from concept stage through commercial systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with sales and marketing to develop product concepts.
- Generate cost quotations including theoretical product formulas and labels.
- Perform ingredient research and associated cost analysis.
- Construct bench prototypes based on approved product concepts.
- Conduct stability and other necessary studies
- Work with quality systems to address problems.
- Conduct scale up trials related to commercial process.
- Maintain proper record keeping with regards to all responsibilities.
- Maintain neatness and orderliness of lab.
- Computer literate in Word and Excell.
MAJOR WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Works with sales and marketing as necessary to fulfill responsibilities.
- Works with quality assurance to meet company quality standards.
- Works with regulatory to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requires a BS in Food Science and experience in food or beverage product development.
You must have a Green Card or be a Permanent Resident of the USA to be considered.
