Job Description

Requirements:

 

  • Educational requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial or manufacturing).
  • Five plus years of plant engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Applicant will possess strong leadership experience and skills in leading, influencing and working with technical people.
  • Project management experience.
  • Plant maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, design theory, maintenance systems, process methodology, sanitation practices, regulatory standards, energy systems and design.
  • Working knowledge of financial administration in areas of capital expenditures and budget management are some of the tools that will define your success.

Duties:

You will report to the Plant Manager with a strong reporting relationship to the Corporate Technical Services organization. You will also partner with Operations, Quality Assurances, Research and Development and outside agencies, vendors & suppliers to create positive relationships to strengthen your proactive role in the plant. You will oversee the growth and development of department personnel.

 

  • Serve as a lead in all technical requirements to ensure that the technical operations are aligned with maximizing production effectiveness and optimizing performance to lower overall operating costs.
  • Provide support, guidance and direction to the plant in new installations.
  • Train plant personnel and push for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate activities between corporate suppliers and outside contractors.

Salary: $95K to $118K + 10% Bonus
