We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Allentown, PA location. The Financial Analyst will report to the Regional Finance Manager. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Lead the Period End Close process
-Analyze financial variances to plan / forecast on a monthly basis
-Develop analytical tools to understand transportation and warehousing activity
-Work with RFM to prepare monthly forecast
-Assist with monthly preparation of financial reporting package
-Assist with monthly KPI reporting
-Assist in the preparation of yearly budget
-Lead the Freight payment process including FBA management, reconciling carrier agings and being the go-to -person for the Finance Clerks
-Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts as needed
-Ensure compliance with the Fixed Asset Audit Requirements
-Own the pallet reconciliation process
-Assist in Accessorial & CASS Audits when applicable
-Assist RFM with Capital Expenditure justifications
-Special projects as required by the local regions needs
Requirements:
Key qualifications include:
-Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field, MBA preferred.
-3 or more years experience Financial Analysis, Costing Standards and Basic Accounting
-Prior experience in the consumer goods industry desired, food or beverage preferred
-Strong computer skills with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint and experienced analysis capabilities utilizing Excel and Access(Advanced Excel preferred)
-Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
-Effective written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships
-Demonstrated success in project management and oversight and problem solving
-Excellent follow-up skills
-Strong work ethic
