We are currently seeking a Demand Planning Manager to be located in Breinigsville, PA near Allentown, PA. This role is responsible for maintaining the demand plan using statistical models and insights from Sales, Marketing & Finance. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

-Lead the Consensus Demand Planning process across Supply Chain, Retail Sales, and Finance to ensure alignment of demand targets and improve forecast accuracy

-Leverage APO statistical models to drive projections

-Drive root cause analytics to understand demand plan error in prior periods, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

-Provide reports to highlight and analyze KPI exceptions and alerts

-Facilitate the timely release of updated demand plans to the Supply Chain

-Communicate with Supply Planning on all critical demand plan modifications

- Communicate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on one number alignment, and alignment on gaps to the number.

-Drive key projects and initiatives from a planning perspective

-Provide leadership, training, and development to Demand Planners in support of high performance team goals

Requirements:

Key qualifications include:

-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business or other relevant field

-7 or more years of experience in demand planning with at least 3 years of experience leading a demand planning team

-Prior experience in the consumer products industry, ideally food and beverage

-Advanced analysis capabilities using systems and data to drive decision making

-Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business management software (SAP preferred)

-Strategic thinking with a macro focus on customer needs

-Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate accordingly

-Effective communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action

-Solid problem solving abilities with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity

-Ability and willingness to respond to after hours calls for critical demand issues
