Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Manufacturing or related discipline required.
• 3-5 years of proven quality experience.
• Willing to help support a 24-hour operation.
• Strong technical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQF and HACCP.

Duties:

This position supports both the Quality and Processing labs. The Quality Supervisor role is focused on training, safety initiatives, customer satisfaction and people development.

• Operate as the local subject matter expert in application production division and Quality Assurance policies, programs, and systems.
• Educate plant personnel on, and assure the plant is compliant with Quality Systems, including record keeping, laboratory and product grading, quality alert effectives, hold and release protocols and COA compliance.
• Actively partner with plant personnel in troubleshooting quality deficiencies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures to eliminate recurring quality problems.
• Maintain preparedness for customer and regulatory inspections and product recalls.

Location: NM

Salary: $63K to $70K + 5%
