Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or related experience.
- 3-5 years supervisory experience.
- Technical knowledge of cheese and/or cultured dairy manufacturing.
- Ability to collaborate with employees to build clear expectation and meaningful development plans that optimize job experiences to learn.
- Ability to create to create a safe climate for employees.
- A strong safety record.
- Can handle extra work load brought on by changes or priority projects
- Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays.
- Experience SAP and Microsoft applications preferred.
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, dairy experience preferred.
Duties:
This role will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to all cheese department personnel on shift and assist with planning, scheduling, monitoring, operating, and budgetary control.
- Collaborate with quality control on product testing.
- Monitor yields and efficiencies.
- Facilitate technical, quality, and safety training.
- Assist employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making correct adjustments.
- Creating/updating standard operating procedures and ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
Location: NM
Salary: $60K to $67K + 5%
