Supply Chain
Our supply chain organization is responsible for the sourcing, production and distribution of our water products for the end customer. Our home and office supply chain produces our products in 6-gallon, 5-gallon and 3-gallon returnable bottles for delivery to customer's homes and businesses. Our retail product is produced in a number of portable Polyethelene Terephthalate (PET) packages.
Job Description
Blow Mold technicians interact with the leadership group, production team members, quality assurance, and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety. They participate as team members in a high volume, light manufacturing environment. Duties include operation, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing blow mold and blow mold support equipment as well as cleaning and preventative maintenance. Sound problem solving skills both in an individual and group setting are necessary as is good communication skills.
Primary Activities
Work to continually improve plant systems, processes, procedures and results.
Utilize process improvement techniques, tools and procedures.
Utilize production output and equipment downtime data to make changes and improve blow mold results.
Maximize performance of blow mold equipment
Have mechanical and electrical skills
Troubleshoot equipment problems, make repairs and document adjustments
Conduct efficient equipment changeovers to accommodate production demands
Read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical)
Utilize preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevent failure of equipment
Preserve blow mold equipment through proper cleaning and sanitation
Produce quality product through tight monitoring of process, raw materials and finished products
Adhere to good housekeeping standards and good manufacturing practices throughout the plant
Use machinist measuring tools to maintain mechanical tolerances
Possess an ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations
Use electrical test instrumentation to troubleshoot electrical circuits
Use quality assurance testing equipment to perform checks on finished product
Have good communication skills to work with plant personnel and vendors
Have computer skills
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements Include:
At least two (2) years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
High school degree or equivalent
Professional/Technical knowledge
Ability to learn
