The Director, Pricing Strategy is responsible for developing MillerCoors pricing strategies, principles, and guidelines across the company’s brand portfolio and sales geographies.  Aligned to meeting MillerCoors business goal of profitably growing share, the objectives include:

·     Developing frontline pricing strategies by brand, market, channel, and pack (BMCP) that maximize MillerCoors revenue and share growth

·     Optimizing promotional pricing tactics by BMCP

·     Collaborating with MillerCoors Pricing Execution team to communicate and execute MillerCoors pricing strategy across the company’s geographies and brand teams, and extended MillerCoors organization

·     Monitoring actual performance/results to strategy

·     Conducting market research, industry & competitive analysis

·     Recommending tactical responses to competitive price moves.

The Director of Pricing Strategy is responsible for formulating and executing, along with the Pricing Execution team, company-wide, value-added pricing strategy initiatives, such as channel/menu pricing, and precision pricing techniques at the local geography level.
Responsible for:

·     Develop overall Company pricing strategy guidance, including GI guidance; manage Brand and Portfolio pricing strategy development, including guidelines and guardrails; manage Price Promotion guideline development

·     Develop new product pricing strategy, and manage new product pricing development

·     Monitor price segmentation, price gaps

·     Conduct pricing annual landscape analysis

·     Collaborate with marketing on consumer price research development


Preferred Qualifications

·     Advanced experience testing & leveraging econometric modeling & microeconomics in an applied business setting (e.g., cross-elasticity & market mix models, consumer utilities, CPG price structures in a three-tier system)

·     Proven experience influencing senior leadership and successfully managing functional and cross-functional teams, especially with sales forces and retailers

·     Experience leveraging talent and developing future leaders

·     Experience interpreting & leveraging syndicated volumetric and pricing data (e.g., ACNielsen, IRI), as well as consumer/household panel data

·     In-depth understanding of the consumer and consumer research (e.g., discrete choice models)

·     MBA/MS required, top school preferred, with emphasis on quantitative disciplines

·     Proven application of advanced finance and strategic evaluation practices (e.g., sensitivity analysis)

·     Advanced experience with financial planning processes (e.g., strategic plans, P&L management) & valuation practices (e.g., NPV, EVA)
