Job Overview:
The Sanitation Manager provides sanitation expertise to the entire facility.
This role involves developing, managing and continuously improving a comprehensive sanitation program that encompasses employee safety, equipment, infrastructure and people development in order to ensure safe food for our consumers all while ensuring Food Safety, Employee Safety & Sanitation Programs are developed, complied to and executed with excellence.
They will improve efficiencies in support of plant productivity, leverage external vendors to improve sanitation effectiveness and efficiency, act as the commercialization/project liaison with BD/Engineering responsible for sanitary design and develop functional/technical skills of sanitation team and site.
Will be required to achieve the Company Certified Sanitarian status.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in food science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Plant Quality/Sanitation Systems.
Primarily 3rd shift, but must be flexible to work other shifts.
Strong leadership and technical skills required.
Advanced knowledge of quality systems, procedures, and policies. Handle multiple assignments, develop work plans, and prioritize. Knowledge of statistical processes.
