Job Description

We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager/Supervisor to support our CI initiatives in Maine (Kingfield, Poland and Hollis facilities). This is a new position that has been created to support our current CI manager in this region as part of the Nestle continuous improvement program rollout. The position will be based either out of Hollis or Poland. Some flexibility and travel to Kingfield, ME would be expected.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

' Lead the operational transition by overseeing cultural lean manufacturing initiatives that prepare plants to go through TPM.

' Help the plant team understand the various components which include compliance, goal alignment and problem solving

' Help to develop supervisors and employees to become white belt certified including training and project coaching

' Participate in other plant assessments as needed

' Partner with Plant Manager and plant leadership team around Continuous Improvement initiatives

' Coach on progress, identify gaps, and assist with training or education as needed

' Review metrics to ensure performance and increases challenge accordingly

' Interface with HR to assess culture change and progress around leadership development initiatives and employee engagement

Requirements:

Key qualifications include:

' Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

' 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, including roles leading others and in Production, Technical, Continuous Improvement, QA or Warehouse operations

' Prior food & beverage or consumer products industry experience preferred but not required

' Experience working with the implementation and oversight of TPM initiatives preferred

' Prior experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with knowledge of CI methodologies & tools

' Demonstrated project management skills on cross functional, cross location initiatives

' Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MiniTab and SAP skills) needed

' Ability to use data for root cause and trend analysis

' Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills

' Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with various internal and external contacts and influence others to drive change and positive improvements

' Some travel (mostly regional) will be necessary
