BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's degree is a must.
- Successful experience in a Production Supervisor or Manager role is required - preferably in Food or Beverage Manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership skills, combined with drive and initiative are required.
- Must be open to an off-shift.
- A big plus if candidate has the desire to grow to more responsible positions.
POSITION:
The Shift Manager is responsible for leading the entire facility on their shift, including Processing, Packaging, Quality, Distribution, and Engineering. They are responsible for approximately 50 employees, including Team Leaders who are running the day-to-day operations. This is a progressive, nonunion environment with empowered work teams. The Shift Manager is responsible for managing projects, troubleshooting problems, and being a leader for Continuous Improvement - in addition to spending time on the floor, building on the team environment.
