We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Logistics Resource) for our Cabazon, California location. This is a NIGHT shift position.
Our supply chain organization is responsible for the sourcing, production and distribution of our water products for the end customer. Our home and office supply chain produces our products in 6-gallon, 5-gallon and 3-gallon returnable bottles for delivery to customer's homes and businesses. Our retail product is produced in a number of portable PET packages.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
'Lead a team of 20 to 30 team members (palletizer/warehouse/dock office/raw materials/3pl) to achieve plant KPI's in a manner consistent with our Aspirations and Beliefs.
'Responsible for supervising warehouse and palletizer personnel and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
'Work with the Dock Coordinator's to improve line loads, truck loading, yard and dock accuracy and reporting.
'Look into all aspects to improve and streamline logistics processes.
'Help Warehouse Tech's improve truck loading, conditions, and all aspects of logistics processes.
'Work with palletizers/dock coordinators to facilitate teamwork and streamline line loads
'Responsible for quality hold reconciliation process.
'Daily management of the return process.
'Work with logistics & production to improve product stacking and straight rows in the warehouse.
'Review, maintain, reconcile, and report FIFO discrepancies.
'Maintain a clean and safe work environment, in accordance with plant operating standards.
'Communicate with Production Planning, Transport, and Production Lines/Teams.
'SOP development/implementation, training of new hires and implementation of new procedures and policies.
'Maintain proper warehouse conditions and cleanliness to maintain tour ready conditions.
'Help department meet and exceed all warehouse KPI's
'Leadership / coordination of offsite 3rd party locations
'Leadership of Continuous Improvement projects, using data to drive decisions
'Ensure compliance to ISO/PAS/NQMS/NESTEC standards in processes
Requirements:
'Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
'2 + years previous supervisory experience and excellent communication skills.
'Ability to lead by example and set a positive tone.
'Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast paced environment.
'Excellent communication and organization skills.
'Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
'Self-motivated with the ability to work towards improvements in current processes and to develop new processes.
'Must be flexible in working hours to include changing days off and/or shifts on short notice to meet demands, NOTE: this position will be based in off-shift hours.
'Proficient computer skills, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, SAP, and IM functionality.
