Regulatory Affairs Associate – Job Description

Location - Brooklyn - NY

Will be responsible for responding to day to day regulatory related customer inquiries for documentation (specs, MSDS, kosher, nutritional, etc)

Must be able to communicate with customers (internal and external) both written and verbally.

Will be responsible for helping ensure regulatory compliance on ingredients and must be able to provide applicable documentation to customers.

Must have good understanding of FDA regulations.

Must be able to work in collaboration with other departments.

Knowledge on FDA regulatory submissions (DMF) is a plus.

Position reports to the Director of Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs.

Qualified applicants will possess:

• BS degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or Equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Regulatory.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
