Job Description
| This position will manage customer deliveries as it relates to appointment scheduling as well as tracking and tracing on time delivery through carrier interaction. Actively involved in managing the freight and warehouse invoice payment process. Support the private fleet on defined initiatives. In addition, support the Logistics Team in achieving department objectives. MAIN DUTIES: - Secure customer delivery appointments as required.
- Monitor customer deliveries through final delivery.
- Manage private fleet drivers from departure to return to plant, including dispatch, backhaul, and track and trace.
- Maintain systems to ensure proper data in LeanLogistics (Fleet Module) for effective planning and tracking of all shipments.
- Track data related to weight per truck for all customer shipments comparing against established goals and benchmarks
- Audit and process manual freight and warehouse invoices.
- Interact with freight payment vendors to ensure timely payment of freight invoices.
- Maintain required logistics documentation (insurance certificates, warehouse food safety scores etc.).
- Support freight carrier claim process.
- Other duties to support department initiatives.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: - LeanLogistics software experience a plus.
- Good computer, oral and written communication, and telephone skills.
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations for DOT.

| EDUCATION: - College Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: - 3-5 years logistics experience
