This role is responsible for leading the sales activities for the branded businesses to include RyKrisp, Rippin’ Good, Golden Batch and Hoody’s - through identification and analysis of opportunities and building of profitable volume/mix with both existing relationships and new accounts.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(List each job duty or responsibility which is critical to the successful performance of the job.)
· Develop business plans to outline opportunities, volume targets, and margins. · Maintain and develop relationships at top accounts. Seek opportunities with new accounts. · Utilize syndicated data and identify market/sales opportunities. · Personally invest time with key decision-makers involved at major accounts assigned. · Communicate regularly with supervisor as to sales progress vs. objectives. · Analyze volume shortfalls and develop immediate/swift action plans to recapture volume. · Maintain costs within assigned sales, A & P, and expense budget. · Management of $40MM in sales. · Coordinate new product trials at appropriate location based on product type and plant capabilities. · Coordinates securing of raw materials – ingredients and packaging supplies – for new product trials. · Manage national and regional food broker network.
