BioTech Business Development Intern

Overview
Support Simplot’s New Market Initiative group in their various biotech innovation opportunities. Projects will be related to the first and subsequent market introductions of biotech potatoes and other potential crops developed through Plant Sciences. During the internship, you will explore and analyze new business opportunities and markets, identify market structures and potential entry points, make recommendations on future options, and assist in developing valuation models.
Working alongside Plant Sciences and Simplot leadership, you will begin your internship learning about each of our diverse business groups and meeting key players in our industry that will care about your success and immediately start several projects within a short timeline.

Requirements
- First year MBA student or undergraduate student
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Superior analytic skills with experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Duration
The internship will begin as soon as feasible in late spring and can last 3 to 4 months depending on your schedule.
