We currently have a BioTech Commercialization Manager position available at our Plant Sciences division in Boise, ID.
OVERVIEW:
Leads efforts to develop business opportunities in commercializing Plant Sciences new potato varieties for non-Frito Lay potato chip manufacturers, fresh market potatoes for retail and food service, and dehydrated chip makers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify potential business strategies and business models.
- Identify, contact and negotiate partnerships, joint ventures or acquisitions depending on the business channel and appropriate strategy.
- Lead planning and execution of all activities associates with the supply chain required for executing those partnerships, joint ventures or acquisitions.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external constituents to achieve the success of the business strategy.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to develop systems for responsible management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or business with an MBA, preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in business development, M&A, or brand management.
- Agricultural and transactional/deal experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 40%
