Processing Lead Supervisor
The Processing Lead Supervisor is responsible for effective leadership of the Packaged and Novelties Processing Departments, as well as serving as FI Pillar Champion, ensuring compliance with Unilever and Plant safety and quality policies and procedures and ensuring that processing activities are in line with plant objectives. The incumbent champions the TPM culture throughout the organization, and promotes good employee relations in a non-union environment.
Provides the leadership, direction, and development required to meet plant production requirements and objectives. Works with internal and external customers to successfully complete shared objectives on time. Provides input for short and long term strategic plans.
Position Responsibilities (Expected Work)
1. Ensures processing employees are following safety, quality and environmental standards in accordance with GMPs to achieve overall zero safety and quality incidents and a world class performance culture.
2. Develop plans and activities to meet quality/production targets established for cost reduction, yield improvements and efficiency gains.
3. Serve as FI Pillar Champion supporting the TPM mission in fulfilling deliverables.
4. Ensure that product on hold is minimized and in line with annual targets.
5. Plan and control the annual budget plan for the department to assure responsible care.
6. Recommend and participate in capital project improvements and installation.
7. Work with steering committee to meet overall plant objectives and serves on Plant, Cluster and RVS teams to support ensure continuous improvement.
8. Work with production and support department managers/leaders to maximize objectives.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Strive for zero incidents and ensure a behavior based safety culture exists within the plant.
2. Strive for world class operating efficiency through transition to TPM processes.
3. Monitor and control quality objectives related to yields, labor variance and holds.
4. Identify cost saving opportunities and plans to reduce cost through labor efficiency, material usage, and equipment use/design.
5. Manage multiple projects, requiring equal attention, meeting all objectives in a timely manner.

V. Skills & Competencies
Knowledge
Education Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field.
Experience 8-10 years experience in a food-manufacturing environment with supervisory experience leading both exempt and production employees. Proven track record of leading teams and individuals to maximum potential and outcome.
