Job Description

Assist the Feed Mill Manager to supervise the operations of the Feed Mill including feed manufacturing, delivery, quality, production costs and employee relations. 1. Directs the operations to provide for best manufacturing practices. Insures that all manufacturing practice policies set forth by Butterball LLC are completed and documented as assigned. Insures that FDA requirements are followed and documented. 2. Insures proper feed delivery to growing farms is accurate and timely. 3. Insures proper quality control procedures and policies are adhered to for ingredients and finished feeds. 4. Responsible for the operational costs including, manufacturing, delivery and labor. 5. Monitors and minimizes shrink in ingredients and finished feeds. 6. Provides for good “housekeeping” practices. Insures a clean environment throughout Mill. 7. Enforces and is responsible for all safety procedures and processes necessary to maintain a safe working enviroment. 8. Assist the management of preventative maintenance program at the feed mill. 9. Completes special projects as assigned by Feed Mill Manager. 10. Ensures safety and well being of Butterball LLC employees through safety Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in feed manufacturing or related field. 2. Supervisory and mechanical experience preferred. 3.
