This is an evening shift position with the hours of 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM Monday through Friday with some overtime and/or weekend work required.

Local candidates only - no relocation is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and champion HR & company policies, procedures, processes, and initiatives
• Process associate employment actions in SAP (e.g., transfers, reorganizations, compensation, etc.)
• Investigate associate complaints and concerns and other issues related to associate relations and welfare
• Administer associate discipline and terminations, and conduct exit interviews
• Process unemployment claims and represent the company in unemployment hearings
• Report on key HR metrics (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, staffing, etc.)
• Monitor and maintain attendance program for hourly associates
• Train and provide feedback on topics pertinent to compliance, associate welfare, and policies/procedures
• Participate and contribute to company-wide goals and projects as assigned
• Coordinate and implement associate recognition activities

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Knowledge of relevant laws & regulations related to HR
• Computer skills (Micrsoft Office Suite, SAP, AS400)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills

 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resourcesor related field,or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year professional experience as HR representative/generalist or related position
