My client, a global food manufacturer, is looking to add a talented Continuous Improvement Leader to their Ohio manufacturing facility. To be considered for this opportunity one must possess the following experience and skill set.

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 3 or more years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge/experience working with some of the following tools:  Lean Manufacturing, 5S, WCM, TPM, Six Sigma.
• Must have the ability to initiate continuous improvement practices and training for the plant.
• Experience using data analysis to determine root cause.
• Experience with basic instrument calibration and general electrical.
• Have the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• This position will be supporting first and off-shift processing operations.  So flexibility with one's schedule is a must.

Description:

This position will work to drive continuous and long term performance improvement for the site.  Some of the responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:  process oriented management, utilize practical tools to drive improvements, initiate problem solving groups as needed, establish a continuous improvement roll-out timeline for area of focus, create a structured training and implementation plan, etc.
