A Global leader in the Beverage/Food Industry is looking for a Director of Regulatory Affairs. This position is responsible for the regulatory strategy across all North American products
Responsibilities:
Proactively responds to changing regulations and establishes strong regulatory programs for innovation and governance.
Lead the strategic implementation to step change the internal regulatory expertise and understanding of FDA policies/procedures
Budget management of approx. $1B; State Price Posting and Tax Compliance Processes
Leadership accountability to assure all of the products, operations, and registrations are compliant with Federal, State, local and International regulations
High level of strategic decision making regarding business processes, supplier and government relationships
Qualifications:
Graduate degree in science, engineering, relevant post-graduate qualifications
Operations experience
10+ years track record across a range of Compliance and Operations disciplines in food/beverage or CPG
5 years’ experience in a highly regulated environment
FDA experience
Spanish and French a plus
Deep knowledge of Federal/State Regulations, Understanding of Licensing
Product Regulatory Management across substantiation, statements of composition, etc.
