Supervise lead and regular mechanics in their daily activities of performing preventive maintenance and corrective action. Enforce all safety rules and regulations as well as company policy. Enforce GMPs. Ensure all hourly employees are productive, completing assignments and adhering to procedure.
Responsibilities
· Issue daily work sheet to each mechanic and ensure that each mechanic has enough work to fill his day.
· Ensures that the preventive maintenance program is being followed each day and that all forms are being filled out correctly and completely.
· Continually monitor and supervise leadmen and mechanics through out the day, with focus on work quality and efficiency.
· Enforce all safety rules, good manufacturing practices, department and company policy.
· Monitors downtime reports issued by the Plant Engineer, track downtime and work orders to lines and equipment which operate most efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong electrical and electronic knowledge
Plant maintenance experience
Supervisory experience
Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
