HJ Heinz North America is searching for a Maintenance Manager to provide dynamic leadership for our exceptional plant maintenance team in Fort Myers, FL. Our Fort Myers facility is well-known for producing our delicious line of Bagel Bites snacks.
What is the role?
Reporting to the Plant Manager and a key partner on the facility's strategic team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the facility's reliability maintenance team. This role is also responsible for capital projects as well as collaborating with plant colleagues in setting direction for continuous improvement and developing best practices.
Who would be successful?
- We are looking for a results-oriented self-starter with a minimum of five years maintenance experience within a manufacturing system; 3+ year's management experience supported by a bachelor's degree in engineering or other technology field.
- An understanding of USDA/FDA design and operating requirements and how they relate to HACCP and food safety.
- Proven track record in performance, projects, team building, CMMS, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Food manufacturing and consumer goods packaging experience is a plus as is experience with refrigeration systems (ammonia a plus), PCL controls, PM, PdM, and Lean Manufacturing.
- This role is mission critical in meeting operations goals.
