Job Description
Qualifications:
- BS Food Science
- HACCP certified, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
- 7+ years related experience
- Ability to travel +50%
Duties:
- Lead company’s continuous improvement, safety and visual factory management programs
- Develop improvement goals for each plant
- Work with QA Managers to design and implement programs to improve overall quality and increase regulatory compliance
- Promote individual responsibility for quality programs
- Maintain company food safety and QA programs across all plants
- Track compliance and KPIs across all facilities
- Develop and implement food safety and QA programs as needed, such as HACCP and GMPs
- Ensure proper coordination and provide support for third party and regulatory audits conducted at all facilities
- Maintain SQF Level 3 certification
- Provide technical support on new product rollouts, new process and equipment implementations
- Interact with FDA Inspectors, ensures all products meet all applicable FDA regulations
- Assist VP of QA on special projects
