Job Description

Category Manager – Food   

Engaged by a large entertainment and lodging enterprise, we are seeking a Category Manager – Food to source, implement and manage national supply agreements for approximately $100 million in annual spend for food, refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable,  for food outlets in the properties located in the United States.

The Category Manager – Food will manage a broad range of food categories (including some beverages), identify savings opportunities, define requirements, identify or develop new sources of supply, negotiate complex national supply agreements, manage supplier performance, and oversee purchasing compliance to national agreements. The ideal candidate must have ability to manage multiple projects at one time and must be enthusiastic and driven to succeed.

Minimum 5 years experience in progressively challenging roles in sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management. Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage categories. Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is a plus.
