Job Description
CTI Foods is seeking an individual in a highly automated facility located in NW Fort Worth. Established food manufacturing company in Saginaw, TX has opportunities available for an individual with knowledge and experience QC Programs and Systems.
Applicants must be highly motivated self starters with direct or related experience. Experience in a high volume food or similar manufacturing environment is requested. Under minimum supervision, one must be able to perform the duties listed below and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the plant Quality Assurance team through the development, maintenance and review of quality systems and programs in order to ensure compliance with company requirements, customer standards and USDA requirements.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Review all assigned quality systems including (but not limited to) complaint tracking, customer reports, non-conforming product, approved supplier program, allergen tracking & reporting, shipping and Mock recall reports.
- This includes verifying that both plants meet all customer audit standards and requirements for assigned areas.
- This position will maintain existing programs including but not limited to: Tracking/recall systems, GMP’s, HACCP plans and USDA guidelines.
- Communicates directly with customers including: audits, complaints, new products and specification changes.
- Assist QA Manager in reviewing all documentation in relation to HACCP pre-shipment reviews.
- Release product when appropriate
- Interface with customers as needed to provide information, reports and to assist with investigation and audits.
- Oversee the preparation of customer monthly reports.
- Prepare labels, label submittals and nutritional analysis.
- Create and revise finished product labels to be compliant with USDA regulations utilizing the bartender software.
- Setting up and maintain the Labelview software and printers for pallet labels.
- Research label options.
- Prepare nutritional statements utilizing the software available.
- Assisting with R&D labeling concerns
- Maintain tracking and data management systems to ensure timely, accurate and reliable records.
- Oversee analytical data entry records
- Support QA manager as needed to provide information, investigation and trend analysis of complaints or other assigned tasks.
- Miscellaneous responsibilities:
- Manage Approved Supplier Program and update list as needed.
- Maintain annual renewal of supplier information.
- Conduct yearly Manager training for HACCP and Allergens
Position Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- A thorough understanding of QC programs and systems.
- Ability to plan - setting objectives, strategies and managing time to meet the time parameters.
- Ability to read and understand detailed documents and technical manuals.
Certifications/Training Required:
- HACCP – Basic and Advance Courses
- Allergen Training
- USDA Product Labeling Training
- Advance computer skills in – Excel, Access, Word, Bartender Labeling Software, Labelview Software and printer spec.
