Job Description

Are you looking to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a top notch management team?  Due to growth, our client is looking for an International Traffic Coordinator to work closely with the International Traffic Supervisor.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

Assisting the International Traffic Supervisor in all the areas listed below:

 

  • Import, Export, Off-Shore operational matters.
  • U.S. Customs clearance of import shipments; timely ISF filings; insuring correct classification of material; correct rates of duty; responding to Customs inquiries
  • Documentation for all international shipments.
  • Compliance with all governmental agencies involved with international shipments (CPB, Agriculture, etc.)
  • Communications to agents and suppliers as necessary to confirm bookings of international shipments.
  • Coordination with Control and Trading Departments to assure timely shipment/delivery.
  • Marine Insurance claims – filing to collection.
  • Approval of supplier invoices (international), stevedore, port and broker/forwarder invoices for payment.
  • Projects as assigned by the International Traffic Supervisor.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5-10 years experience in international transportation/logistics
  • Strong work ethic
  •  Strong Mathematical skills, XCEL, Aceess
